- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred; Associate degree in a related field of industrial purchasing practices may be considered. Master Buyer Certification preferred. Knowledge of commercial and nuclear purchasing practices. Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) suppliers and manufacturers. Understanding of inventory management strategies and techniques. Knowledge of logistics and expediting processes. Basic understanding of plant equipment, material resource planning, and quality assurance principles preferred. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with materials management software systems; Asset Suite experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
