Role Description
Support the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services in line with business requirements.
Coordinate procurement activities, evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal departments and suppliers to understand purchasing requirements and identify suitable sourcing options.
- Compare commercial proposals, coordinate procurement from requisition through delivery, and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Monitor supplier performance, support contract and pricing discussions, and resolve purchasing or delivery issues.
- Contribute to cost optimization, supplier relationship management, procurement compliance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing principles, purchasing procedures, and supplier management.
- Ability to evaluate quotations, compare pricing and commercial terms, manage purchase orders, and track orders.
- Understanding of basic contract terms, supplier negotiations, procurement compliance, and purchasing data analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and commercial skills.
