Full-time, on-site Procurement Specialist role based in Doha, Qatar.
Responsible for end-to-end procurement, timely delivery, supplier management, accurate records, stakeholder coordination, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Evaluate and select suppliers; coordinate requests for quotations.
- Support contract negotiation to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Coordinate purchasing needs with internal stakeholders and operational requirements.
- Analyze costs and risks and support procurement decisions.
- Follow organizational policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement experience and knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
- Purchase order management and related documentation skills.
- Supplier evaluation and contract negotiation skills.
- Analytical skills for data interpretation, bid comparison, budget management, and decision support.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Port operations, hospitality, or large-scale infrastructure experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for a multicultural, fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems and MS Office applications.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
