Job Summary
A Procurement / Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the company.
The role ensures **cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery** while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate **suppliers and vendors**
- Request and compare **quotations (RFQs)** and negotiate pricing
- Issue **purchase orders (POs)** and track deliveries
- Ensure materials/services meet **quality and specification requirements**
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse or operations teams
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
- Develop and maintain **vendor relationships**
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- Handle contract agreements and renewals
- Resolve issues related to **delays, damages, or shortages**
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Business Administration
• Supply Chain Management
- Logistics or related field
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing (1-5+ years typical)
- Strong **negotiation and communication skills**
- Knowledge of **supply chain processes**
- Good analytical and cost management skills
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
