About The Role
Infinia Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have **5–8 years of procurement experience in the construction industry** and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective purchase of materials for ongoing projects.
Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect material requirements from project sites and prepare purchase requisitions.
- Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Investigate and resolve qualitative and quantitative discrepancies between purchase orders and goods received.
- Process goods receipt notes and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Ensure all purchase enquiries are forwarded to suppliers promptly.
- Generate monthly procurement reports and identify any unusual procurement activities.
- Provide monthly updates to the Finance Department on the status of capital projects.
- Respond to procurement-related queries from internal departments and suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
Requirements
- **5–8 years of procurement or purchasing experience in the construction industry.**
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, procurement procedures, and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
