Procurement Officer

Manage and secure all procurement needs of the facility for raw materials, consumables, and equipment with the best quality and specifications, within the specified time, and at the lowest possible cost by establishing strategic relationships with suppliers and efficiently managing negotiation and purchasing operations.

Supplier Research and Selection: Continuously attract new suppliers and evaluate them based on quality, price, delivery speed, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and quantity discounts to protect the facility's profit margin.

Purchase Requests Management: Receive requests for needs from various departments (such as kitchen, warehouse, administration), review them, and convert them into official purchase orders (POs).

Monitoring and Delivery: Monitor shipments and requests with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and avoid any shortages in essential materials.

Quality Inspection and Compliance: Coordinate with warehouse or quality officials to ensure that received materials meet the required specifications and purchase invoices.

Returns and Complaints Management: Handle cases of defects in materials or discrepancies in specifications, and monitor replacement or financial compensation processes with suppliers.

Market and Price Monitoring: Continuously monitor price fluctuations in the market and anticipate any shortages in materials to implement necessary contingency measures.

Financial Coordination: Send invoices and required documentation to the finance department to schedule payments to suppliers in a timely manner.
