Procurement Officer

Overview

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for oil & gas and construction projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Prepare and process RFQs, RFPs, purchase orders, and procurement documentation in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality products, and favorable contract terms.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to identify material requirements and procurement schedules.
• Maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and conduct supplier performance evaluations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure material availability and avoid project delays.
• Manage procurement of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, structural, and construction materials.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, project specifications, and company procurement procedures.
• Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments to ensure timely project execution.
• Assist in contract administration, bid evaluations, and vendor prequalification processes.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements for local and international shipments.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and management summaries.
• Work closely with finance and accounts departments to verify invoices and facilitate timely supplier payments.
• Support procurement activities for major oil & gas and construction projects associated with ADNOC requirements and standards.
