The company manufactures and stocks a wide range of industrial fasteners, including stud bolts, hex bolts, nuts, socket cap screws, engineering studs, eye bolts, U/J/L bolts, anchor bolts, threaded bars, collar bolts, and hex plugs.

Pressbolt Middle East also produces CNC machined parts and a comprehensive range of gaskets, such as spiral wound, RTJ, soft cut, insulation kits, and double metal jacketed gaskets.

Role Description

The Procurement Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi.

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing cycle, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and issuing purchase orders for fasteners, gaskets related raw materials.

Day-to-day tasks include evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective procurement.

The role also involves maintaining accurate procurement records, supporting compliance with company policies, and contributing to continuous improvement of purchasing processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong procurement and purchasing skills, with experience managing supplier relationships and sourcing industrial materials.
  • Ability to handle purchase orders and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated contract negotiation skills, including pricing, terms, and delivery conditions.
  • Solid analytical skills for evaluating quotations, monitoring costs, and assessing supplier performance.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial supplies, or engineering environments is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in ERP or procurement software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, on-site team.
