Procurement Manager / Supply Chain Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives; identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and service agreements; oversee purchasing, purchase orders, supplier agreements, and procurement documentation.
• Monitor inventory, demand forecasts, and stock availability; coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, warehouse teams, and internal departments for timely delivery.
• Analyze costs, supply chain performance, and market trends; establish supplier performance metrics, service standards, and KPIs.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans; follow company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable UAE regulations.
• Manage budgets and cost-control initiatives; maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and reports; collaborate across departments on purchasing and inventory needs.
• Oversee logistics planning, inventory coordination, distribution, and end-to-end supply chain performance.

Requirements and qualifications

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain management, or vendor management is required, depending on the role level.
• Strong negotiation, supplier relationship management, and contract management skills; knowledge of procurement, inventory, logistics, and supply chain optimization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business reporting tools; strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, projects, and deadlines; excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• ERP systems, procurement platforms, or supply chain management software experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of UAE supplier markets, import procedures, and regional logistics practices is advantageous.
• CIPS, CSCP, or CPSM certifications are advantageous; Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory.
