Lead procurement activities for construction and real estate projects.
Manage sourcing, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and purchasing to deliver materials and services on time, to quality standards, and at value for money.
Procurement responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies and manage end-to-end purchasing for construction materials, equipment, subcontracting, and professional services.
- Identify suppliers, contractors, and service providers; lead tenders, bid analysis, negotiations, and contract awards.
- Review requisitions, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules to plan procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery, quality, and contractual compliance; coordinate with project, engineering, finance, and operations teams.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, cost analyses, and supplier databases; reduce costs, manage risks, and improve processes.
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven procurement experience as a Procurement Manager or in a senior procurement role; strong construction and/or real estate background required.
- Experience sourcing construction materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project-related services.
- Demonstrated tender management, contract negotiation, and supplier evaluation skills; strong commercial, analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement or ERP systems; able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with project teams.
