Role Description
The Procurement Manager at Martin Solution will oversee sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities to support business needs in a cost-effective and timely manner.
This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on-site work and flexibility for some work-from-home days.
Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, managing requests for proposals and quotations, and coordinating the end-to-end procurement process.
The role will involve negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
The Procurement Manager will also analyze purchasing data, identify opportunities for cost savings, support budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and purchasing skills, with experience managing sourcing activities and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in supplier evaluation and performance management, including assessing quality, reliability, and value.
- Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation and contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining agreements.
- Solid analytical skills to interpret procurement data, assess market trends, and support cost-optimization decisions.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment and ability to manage time and priorities independently.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.
