Procurement Manager

About This Role

Currie & Brown is looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, working with a key client on various major projects.

You will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing end to end process flow of procurement activities on various infrastructure, landscaping and mixed use projects
• Carrying out tender evaluations
• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Skills, experience & qualifications:

• Degree in Civil, MEP Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Previous experience in a Procurement Manager role in the Middle East
• Previous experience working on large scale, infrastructure projects with PPP (Public Private Partnership) exposure
• Must be client facing and able to deal with multiple stakeholders
