Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Enforce procurement policy compliance and support purchasing that balances price, quality, and service.
• Review employee and system compliance, report cases of non-compliance, and assess procurement operational efficiency.
• Develop procurement risk assessment and mitigation processes and ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and standards.
• Identify suppliers, develop supply chain relationships and contract processes, and maintain clear agreed terms and conditions.
• Oversee three-way matching for most purchases to support value throughout project and installation lifecycles.
• Develop and review supplier and purchasing KPIs covering quality, time, cost, and value added.
• Produce management information for senior leadership and evaluate suppliers to improve effectiveness and delivery.
• Maintain clear purchase order specifications and review and communicate procurement processes, policies, guides, strategies, and objectives.
• Consult stakeholders on procurement policies, maintain internal relationships, and manage a preferred supply chain using supplier performance ratings.

Requirements

• CIPS membership or working towards it.
• Ability to use SAP or Asite to a high standard.
• Previous experience in a Procurement Management position and within an M&E contractor.
• Proven experience managing MEP supply chains.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to balance customer interests with business interests.
