Procurement Management Development Associate
Role Overview
For more than 30 years, our Management Development Associate program has developed our future leaders.
As a Management Development Associate, you will embark on a personal and professional development experience a classroom simply can’t offer.
As a Procurement Management Development Associate at Nestlé Purina, we will coach you from the start, shaping your career trajectory for continuous learning and growth.
Together, we'll explore quality assurance, safety, supply chain, engineering, human resources, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand how each of these areas collaborate with procurement.
You'll also gain insight into material life cycles and will be able to develop and manage sourcing strategies that ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and compliance with safety standards.
Why choose a leadership developmental role with us?
It's a full-time position that fast-tracks you to management on the manufacturing side of our business.
You are our future leader!
Plus, the rotational component of the program provides a change in location which offers fresh perspectives and growth opportunities.
With a relocation assistance package, each move will be supported so that you can focus on learning end-to-end processes, building your network, and launching your career.
Develop knowledge, awareness, and understanding of the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and pet care industries, including understanding the consumer and/or pet owner, knowing Purina brands, their competition, and the ability to identify and analyze segment trends.
Partner with other functional groups in developing strategy, material, or supplier needs for the project's outlined Scope of Work.
Consider current and future demand, and work with your team to ensure Business Continuity Plans are in place for key materials.
