About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement / Logistics Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or logistics and should be capable of handling purchasing activities, supplier coordination, shipment follow-up, and related documentation efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier follow- up
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, delivery schedules, and purchase orders
- Monitor stock availability and support inventory planning
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Prepare and maintain procurement and logistics documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding material requirements
- Ensure proper record keeping of purchases, deliveries, and supplier communications
- Support import/export and shipping-related processes when required
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and logistics partners
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and procurement policies
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of mandatory experience in Procurement and/or Logistics
- Good knowledge of purchasing procedures and logistics coordination
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Knowledge of ERP/software systems will be an advantage
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
