Role summary
Levels AV FZ LLC seeks a commercially focused Procurement Lead to manage procurement and logistics activities.
The role develops supplier relationships, negotiates commercial terms, controls costs, and coordinates internal requirements and deliveries.
Procurement and supplier management
- Lead sourcing, supplier evaluation, quotation analysis, negotiations, and purchasing.
- Maintain manufacturer, distributor, supplier, and vendor relationships; develop new vendors and alternative sourcing options.
- Negotiate prices, discounts, credit facilities, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
- Manage supplier accounts, credit limits, agreements, and performance.
- Prepare accurate purchase orders and align procurement with budgets, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor orders and supplier delivery commitments and resolve procurement issues.
Logistics and freight
- Manage freight forwarder, shipping company, transport provider, and customs-clearance-agent relationships.
- Coordinate local and international shipments, transportation, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain shipping documents and delivery records; monitor shipment progress, expenses, and potential delays.
- Identify freight savings through competitive rates, shipment consolidation, and alternative transportation.
Cost control and coordination
- Monitor procurement and logistics costs against budgets and identify savings.
- Coordinate with Finance on supplier payments, balances, credit accounts, and freight invoices.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, quotation comparisons, purchase orders, and shipment documentation.
- Report on costs, savings, supplier performance, outstanding orders, and delivery status.
- Support procurement and logistics team members and improve workflows and processes.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, approvals, shipping requirements, and customs regulations.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of relevant procurement and logistics experience; AV, electronics, construction, MEP, or technical-services experience is preferred.
- Proven negotiation experience covering supplier pricing, credit facilities, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
- Strong supplier account management, sourcing, and vendor-development experience.
- Experience negotiating with freight forwarders and managing local and international logistics.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, shipping documentation, import procedures, and customs clearance.
- Commercial awareness, cost-control skills, and ability to find procurement and logistics savings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement, inventory, or ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and relationship-management skills.
- Able to manage priorities, work independently, and support operations; UAE/GCC procurement and logistics experience is an advantage.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.
