Role Description
The Procurement Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai.
This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, and negotiating prices and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
The Procurement Executive will prepare and process purchase orders, track deliveries, coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams, and ensure materials are received on time and in the correct quantities.
Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records in procurement systems, monitoring stock levels, and collaborating with finance to reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies.
The role also involves building and maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring market trends and pricing, and supporting continuous improvement of purchasing processes to meet project and organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, and negotiation.
- Hands-on experience creating, reviewing, and managing purchase orders and related documentation.
- Proficiency in purchase management, including tracking deliveries, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining supplier databases.
- Well-developed analytical skills to compare quotations, analyze costs, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement software and solid MS Office skills (especially Excel).
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally within building materials, construction, or a related industry.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail.
