Procurement Engineer (CMEP)

✔ Handle end-to-end procurement activities, including preparation, issuance, and follow-up of LPOs (Local Purchase Orders).

✔ Manage and administer contracts, subcontracts, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).

✔ Review and verify material requests (MRs) received from Operations (OPS) for accuracy, specifications, and scope alignment.

✔ Provide technical evaluation and confirmation for materials related to CMEP (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works.

✔ Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and ensure commercial and technical compliance.

✔ Support the tendering team by assisting in:

�Preparing quotations

�Verifying scope of work

�Identifying suitable materials and vendors

✔ Ensure cost optimization through negotiation and comparison of multiple suppliers.

✔ Coordinate effectively with Operations, Finance, Stores, and Suppliers for smooth procurement and delivery processes.

✔ Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely supply of materials as per project requirements.

✔ Maintain proper documentation of LPOs, contracts, invoices, and approvals.

✔ Track and manage budget utilization against approved BOQs and contracts.

✔ Handle vendor performance evaluation and maintain approved supplier lists.

✔ Resolve procurement-related issues such as delays, shortages, or quality concerns.

✔ Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and audit requirements.

✔ Assist in material planning and forecasting in coordination with OPS and project teams.
