Procurement Coordinator role supporting purchasing activities for a wooden pallet manufacturing factory.
The coordinator sources timber and other production materials, coordinates suppliers, obtains quotations, and supports timely delivery.

Responsibilities
- Source timber, wooden materials, nails, screws, and other pallet production materials.
- Coordinate with local and international suppliers; request and compare quotations.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules; prepare and process purchase orders.
- Follow up on deliveries and coordinate material requirements with production and stores.
- Monitor timber stock and arrange purchases according to production requirements.
- Maintain supplier records, quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Check delivered materials for quality and quantity; handle shortages, damage, and supplier issues.
- Find alternative suppliers, prepare purchasing reports, and follow company approval procedures.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Timber, wood, or wooden pallet purchasing experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of UAE suppliers and local market prices.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, including good English communication.
- Able to coordinate across suppliers, production, stores, and management; organized, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000 per month.
