Role overview
Part-time Procurement Clerk / Purchasing Assistant supporting operational purchasing of goods and services.
The position is hybrid, based in Dubai, with some duties available to be performed from home.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Review quotations and compare prices to secure economically advantageous terms.
- Maintain supplier master data, track orders and monitor delivery dates.
- Coordinate with internal departments and communicate with suppliers to clarify discrepancies.
- Contribute to compliance with internal purchasing policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in purchasing or procurement, particularly purchasing and procurement operations, and familiarity with purchase orders.
- Analytical ability to compare offers, prices and contract terms and support informed decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication for working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- A commercial qualification or relevant degree is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of contract and delivery terms and experience with common ERP or procurement systems are preferred.
- Independent, structured and reliable work style; secure English skills and intercultural competence in an international environment.
