Procurement responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end MEP procurement, including identifying needs, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Analyze specifications and drawings; coordinate with design, engineering, project, and stakeholder teams.
- Monitor prices, market trends, and material availability; evaluate suppliers for capability, price, and quality.
- Maintain supplier, contractor, and manufacturer relationships; manage procurement budgets and expenditure reporting.
- Ensure procurement meets company policies, project timelines, and quality standards.
Pricing responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and detailed BOQs for modular projects, including direct and indirect costs.
- Estimate construction material, labor, time, and equipment costs using bids, quotations, drawings, and specifications.
- Recommend cost-saving improvements and participate in bid initiation and review meetings.
- Manage budgets, schedules, engineering and construction interfaces, project controls, correspondence, and reporting.
- Monitor project schedules and designs against cost, schedule, and budget objectives; prepare estimates from preliminary studies through final endorsement.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 2–3 years of estimating and quantity surveying experience focused on UAE fit-out and interior projects.
- Required: 2 years in construction, fit-out, or interior procurement and 2 years preparing modular project cost estimates.
- Required: 1 year interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications and 1 year estimating structural, MEP, or construction costs.
- Strong negotiation skills and attention to accuracy and quality in estimating and reporting.
Compensation and employment
- Full-time position paying AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
