Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Procurement and Marketing Officer role based in Abu Dhabi.
The Procurement and Marketing Officer will manage sourcing and purchasing of equipment, materials, and services for oilfield operations, including obtaining quotations, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
The role involves maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
On the marketing side, the officer will support the development and execution of marketing campaigns, prepare promotional materials and presentations, and coordinate participation in industry events and client meetings.
The position also includes conducting market and competitor analysis, preparing regular reports on procurement and marketing performance, and collaborating with operations, finance, and sales teams to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Market Research and Marketing to plan, execute, and evaluate targeted campaigns in the oil and gas sector.
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and clients, and to prepare clear reports and presentations.
- Experience in Social Media Marketing and Sales to support lead generation, brand visibility, and customer engagement.
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and basic contract negotiation, preferably in oilfield or industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and collaborate effectively with a diverse, multicultural team.
- Prior experience in the Middle East oil and gas market and knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices are advantageous.
