Process Optimization Specialist

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes, workflows, procedures, and operational activities to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplication, and process gaps.
• Design and implement improved workflows, procedures, and operating processes; conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, root-cause analysis, and performance assessments.
• Develop improvement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and business requirements.
• Identify automation, digitization, standardization, and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, process metrics, productivity indicators, and performance dashboards.
• Collaborate across Finance, Operations, IT, HR, Sales, Procurement, and other departments.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and support Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other methodologies.
• Evaluate the impact of changes on cost, productivity, quality, customer experience, and operational performance.
• Develop business cases, proposals, process documentation, and implementation plans; facilitate workshops, interviews, and workflow reviews.
• Support system implementation, digital transformation, ERP/CRM optimization, and process-automation projects; monitor implementation and realized benefits.
• Identify operational risks, control gaps, and compliance issues; develop SOPs, process guidelines, workflow documentation, and training materials.
• Update management on initiatives, results, and recommendations, and promote continuous improvement and accountability.

Requirements

• Experience in process optimization, business process improvement, operational excellence, management consulting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of process mapping, workflow analysis, root-cause analysis, and continuous-improvement methodologies.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, BPM, Agile, or similar frameworks are preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders; able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Knowledge of KPIs, performance measurement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
• ERP, CRM, workflow automation, BI, or process-management systems experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or similar tools.
• A related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CBAP, or other process-improvement certifications are an advantage.
