Overview
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Process Manager – Testing & Commissioning (STP) to join a major Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) project in Qatar.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end commissioning activities, ensuring safe plant start-up, process stabilization, performance testing, and successful handover to operations.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned professional with:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Process / Environmental Engineering
12–15 years of experience in STP / WWTP testing & commissioning
Strong experience in biological wastewater treatment systems and plant start-up
EPC / Design & Build project experience is mandatory
GCC experience is highly desirable
Experience
in large-scale municipal or industrial wastewater treatment plants
Technical Expertise
Wastewater treatment plant commissioning & start-up
Biological treatment systems (ASP, MBR, MBBR, SBR)
Sludge treatment processes (thickening, digestion, dewatering)
Tertiary treatment systems (filtration, UV, chlorination)
PLC, SCADA, instrumentation & automation systems
Process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs interpretation
Commissioning procedures, ITPs, and system checklists
Plant performance testing & optimization
