About This Role
Responsibilities
- Review client RFQ’s, raise RFI ‘s
- Develop schemes based on the RFQ’s and clarifications
- Prepare list of deviations and qualifications
- Develop BOQ’s
- Coordinate with vendors to get quotes meeting the RFQ’s & deviations
- Prepare costing & proposal based on the selected vendors
- Prepare preliminary design calculations such as sizing, pressure drop, power requirements, operating costs etc.
- Prepare technical submittals with preliminary drawings such as schematics & layout
- Develop and maintain database of product manufacturers, fabricators, dealers etc.
- Prepare risk committee documents and cash flow analysis for major projects
- Prepare technical literature for any non-standard equipment
- Optimize design and selections to support sales team during negotiations
- Coordinate with the engineering team for post contract clarifications if any
- Any other responsibility assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Chemical / Mechanical/ Environmental Engineering
- 4-6 years’ experience in managing above applications and technologies
Required Skills
- Technical: in depth knowledge of the following applications and technologies:
- Applications - Domestic water, Legionella control, Desalination (Brackish and sea water), Wastewater treatment, High purity water, Water for Leisure (lagoons, water parks, and pools), Drinking water (Remineralisation, PFA removal etc), HVAC systems, etc.
- Technologies - Filters (various types), RO & UF systems, Legionella Control - Copper Silver Ionisers, Chlorine Dioxide, electrochlorinators, UV etc., Membrane solutions – RO, UF, NF, STP / ETP – MBR. MBBR, SBR, SAFF etc, Specialized wastewater – Radioactive, infectious, N&P reduction, autopsy etc., Leisure – Regenerative filters, horizontal filters etc, Ion exchange – Softeners, DM, anion exchange, heavy metal removal etc, Side stream filters (Disc, automatic self-cleaning, centrifugal etc).

- Possess high degree of integrity and work ethics.
- Self-starter, ambitious, self-motivated, team player, and resourceful with positive attitude.
- Analytical thinker with quick problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in MS office tools, salesforce, ERP.
