We are partnering with a leading investment platform seeking to hire an Associate to join its Private Markets team.
The successful candidate will support the evaluation, execution, and ongoing management of investments across a diversified portfolio of private market opportunities.
Working closely with senior investment professionals, the Associate will gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and investment modelling across prospective opportunities.
- Support commercial, operational, and financial due diligence processes.
- Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and investment memorandums.
- Assist in the execution of transactions and coordination with advisors, management teams, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and prepare periodic reporting and analysis.
- Undertake market research across sectors, industries, and investment themes.
- Support relationship management with investors, co-investors, fund managers, and strategic partners.
Candidate Requirements
- 2-6 years of experience within private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets, investment banking, transaction services, consulting, or a related investment environment.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience preparing investment materials for senior stakeholders and investment committees.
- Demonstrated interest in private markets investing.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- CFA, CAIA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
