Printing Machine Operator

About This Role

We are looking for a skilled Printing Machine Operator to manage day-to-day printing operations while supporting minor design adjustments when required. This role is primarily focused on machine operation, quality output, and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and monitor printing machines to ensure high-quality output
• Prepare files for printing, including basic resizing, formatting, and layout adjustments
• Calibrate machines and manage print runs based on job specifications
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of equipment
• Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and brand requirements
• Manage materials usage and report any shortages or issues
• Maintain records of production, machine performance, and completed jobs
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of print requirements
• Coordinate with external vendors for outsourced printing jobs, including briefing, follow-ups, and quality checks upon delivery
• Handle installation and application of printed materials (e.g., vinyl, stickers, signage, wall graphics) across venues and events, ensuring proper finishing and alignment

Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in printing machine operations (large format preferred)
• Strong understanding of printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques
• Basic proficiency in design software (Adobe Photoshop or similar)
• Experience in coordinating with external vendors or print suppliers is a plus
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player with good communication skills
