Principal Systems Engineer - Test Analyst Onsite

Role overview

What you will do

• Analyze MDS test data, primarily from Ground Test (HWIL), and potentially from flight tests, real-world events, and Golden Dome for America tests.
• Develop approaches and tools for system-level and element-level performance analysis.
• Produce analysis results and inputs for official SEA test reports, and present findings during mission data reviews.
• Collaborate with systems engineering teams, test organizations, warfighters, and element program representatives to ensure tests meet technical intent.
• Develop and present analytical products assessing system performance in ground and flight test events.
• Analyze MDS elements and kill-chain performance, with a focus on system-level behaviors.
• Travel domestically or locally approximately 10–15%.

Qualifications required

• Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Requires experience with systems engineering test analysis for the Missile Defense System.
• Requires experience with MATLAB, Python, or another programming language.
• An active and existing Secret clearance is required on day one; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Preferred qualifications

• A strong systems engineering or MDS analysis background and collaboration and presentation skills are desired.
• Post-test data analysis experience and system-level interface design or specification development experience are preferred.
• Knowledge of MDS, SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Tableau or similar tools, system analysis, and system-level testing is desired.
