Role overview

Responsibilities

• Establish methods for rapidly delivering AI, ML, and LLM data analysis capabilities for standalone data-driven products and services.
• Lead architecture and technical design discussions aligned with organizational strategy.
• Experiment with and optimize models; analyze unstructured text to discover insights and patterns.
• Prioritize AI initiatives using quantitative and qualitative methods, and promote adoption of relevant technologies.
• Create reusable data science packages and APIs; mentor team members.
• Own the scalability, stability, and business adoption of data science solutions.

Required qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in algorithms and statistics, with data mining, machine learning, deep learning, and NLP experience.
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering or Data Science.
• Experience with NLP, BERT, Transformers, deep learning, and LLMs used to deliver business outcomes.
• Experience evaluating generative AI techniques, improving response accuracy and helpfulness, and implementing observability.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks, RAG, embedding models, vector databases, and application deployment to Azure or AWS.
• Ability to deliver production data science packages and APIs in short development cycles and collaborate across business and technical stakeholders.

Technical skills

• Python application development, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI.
• LLMs, agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation, embedding models, and vector databases.
• Model evaluation, optimization, and observability; cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.
