The Principal Product Manager owns strategy for a major part of Schema App's platform and helps raise product-building practices.
This is a senior individual-contributor leadership role that sets multi-quarter direction and turns strategy into shipped outcomes.
The role partners with Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success and reports to the COO and co-founder.
What you'll do
- Set product-line strategy and roadmap across quarters, grounding trade-offs in market shifts, usage data, customer feedback, and business impact.
- Shape platform, integrations, and APIs, and partner with leadership on pricing and packaging.
- Coach product managers, mentor a PM-in-training, and evolve practical roadmap, prioritization, and go-to-market frameworks.
- Lead enterprise customer discovery and roadmap conversations; bring customer evidence into strategy and prioritization.
- Partner with Marketing and Customer Success on positioning, launches, Sales and CSM enablement, and adoption tracking.
- Use AI copilots and agentic tools thoughtfully and develop a point of view on how AI answer engines and agents retrieve and act on structured content.
Must-have qualifications
- Requires 8+ years as a product manager and deep hands-on B2B SaaS experience.
- Requires product-line or multi-quarter product-strategy ownership with shipped outcomes and measurable adoption, retention, or revenue impact.
- Requires a track record coaching and mentoring product managers, including junior or early-career PMs.
- Requires pricing and packaging experience or platform, integration, or API product ownership.
- Requires executive presence with enterprise customers and experience leading discovery, roadmap, and strategy conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Requires strong Engineering and go-to-market partnership, data-informed decisions, and technical competency for architecture and feasibility discussions.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- A strong plus is depth in AI, semantic web, knowledge graphs, or data platforms, such as LLM or AI search products, schema.org, structured data, RDF, linked data, or developer products.
- SEO, martech, content platform, or answer-engine optimization experience is desirable.
- Experience scaling product frameworks or a product community of practice, running customer-facing webinars, enablement, or launch programs is desirable.
- A technical background or startup/scale-up experience is desirable.

- This is a full-time remote role.
