Principal Product Designer (Remote)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own user experience for a product area from concept to launch.
• Lead design initiatives, set strategy and standards across product areas, and mentor designers.
• Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing, when needed.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Work with engineers to support high-quality implementation.
• Evolve the design system and champion user-centered design.
• Align design vision with long-term business goals through cross-functional collaboration.

Must-have qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Designer experience, including senior or principal leadership experience.
• A strong portfolio showing the design process and complex problem solving across device types and surfaces.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-direction, bias for action, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Experience designing B2B or enterprise applications.
• Experience contributing to or managing design systems.
• Familiarity with wholesale or automotive marketplaces.
