Principal Process Enablement & Operating Model Lead

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Translate the Digital Operating Model into standardized, scalable end-to-end processes across Mars Snacking and Kellanova.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Information Security, Risk Compliance, and other enabling functions to create unified procedures and remove bottlenecks.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, executive interviews, and alignment sessions on roles, accountabilities, and decision rights using the RAPID framework.
• Set process baselines, cycle-time metrics, and dashboards measuring speed, cost-effectiveness, and productivity savings.
• Own and prioritize the enterprise process-improvement backlog in line with digital-transformation goals.
• Coach process analysts, project-team members, and regional process champions in Lean methods and continuous improvement.
• Create playbooks, SOPs, templates, and learning guides to support change adoption and onboarding.
• Work across regions with product lines and business units to achieve measurable, lasting results.
• Identify workflow optimization, automation, digitization, and practical AI opportunities; build value-stream architecture and mentor associates.

Requirements

• At least five years of progressive experience leading process design, operating-model transformation, or continuous improvement in a complex global matrix organization.
• Mastery of Lean Six Sigma, Value-Stream Mapping, and BPMN.
• Proficiency in Product Platform operating models, Agile delivery frameworks, and digital capability enablement.
• Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority and align cross-functional teams.
• Competence in root-cause analysis, process baselines, and executive KPI dashboards.
• Experience identifying process automation, digitization, and practical AI opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications

• CPG/FMCG experience is preferred.
• A master’s degree or relevant certifications are preferred, including Lean Six Sigma Black/Green Belt, BPM, Agile Product Management, or PROSCI Change Management.
• Experience with enterprise integration, business-unit harmonization, or transition management is preferred.

Compensation

• The listed salary range is $169,840 to $233,530 per year.
