About the mission we offer you:
The Principal Planning Engineer provides expert-level planning and scheduling leadership for complex offshore projects.
The role is responsible for establishing planning strategy, governing schedule standards, and supporting senior management in critical project decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and scheduling strategy across major offshore project scopes.
- Oversee development, integration, and control of master schedules.
- Review project performance, trends, and schedule risk exposure.
- Provide expert guidance on recovery plans, delays, and schedule impacts.
- Support project leadership in milestone planning, forecasting, and decision support.
- Review contractor schedules, claims, and interface impacts at a senior level.
- Ensure planning procedures, reporting standards, and controls are effectively implemented.
- Coach and support planning teams across projects.
Experience Required
- 18+ years of experience in project planning and controls.
- Extensive offshore project experience is mandatory.
- Strong experience in leading complex, multi-disciplinary project schedules.
Required Skills
- Expert-level Primavera P6 knowledge.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Deep understanding of project controls, claims, and delay analysis.
- Excellent communication and executive reporting skills.
