Responsibilities
- Own Passage digital architecture from concept through high-volume production and coordinate execution with technical program managers.
- Lead system-architecture collaboration with semiconductor customers through product development.
- Architect and specify system-level digital designs integrating AMS and photonic circuits, including high-speed drivers and receivers, SerDes, ADC/DAC, modulators, and detectors.
- Develop product and technology roadmaps; author, review, and validate architectural specifications.
- Work with test and validation engineers to compare hardware performance against simulation predictions.
- Direct and collaborate with RTL, design verification, analog, photonics, and firmware teams to enable implementation and unblock execution.
- Own digital control architecture for stabilization, bias control, thermal tuning, and adaptive calibration through specification, RTL definition, and silicon validation.
- Lead silicon bring-up, define link-training sequences, correlate hardware with simulation, and iterate control algorithms using measured data.
- Represent the company externally at technical conferences.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience and a master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of power-efficient digital design flows for high-speed AMS electronics; photonic communication channels are preferred.
- Proven delivery of successful high-volume silicon and understanding of silicon product development.
- Ability to learn new domains quickly and drive clarity amid incomplete information across cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on RTL development for AMS control logic, state machines, and interface blocks; specification authorship alone is insufficient.
- Photonic circuit experience is preferred, not required.
