Role overview
Own data architecture on financial-services engagements across banking, insurance, capital markets, and wealth management.
Build analytics products and the access, security, and delivery foundations that make regulated data trustworthy.
Lead project teams assembled for each engagement, set technical direction, and carry proven patterns forward.
Responsibilities
- Architect reporting products from core operational and front-office systems, replacing spreadsheet-assembled deliverables.
- Design calculation and what-if modeling for performance, exposure, allocation, profitability, and scenarios.
- Build reconciled cross-source reporting, benchmarking, and peer comparisons where required.
- Enable governed self-service warehouse access and consistent semantic and metric layers.
- Support board-level reporting and scenario planning on governed definitions.
- Modernize onboarding and recurring operating cycles with governed data flows and timely reporting.
- Design secure, traceable data and retrieval foundations for AI document review and ongoing monitoring.
- Own RBAC, entitlements, identity management, row- and column-level security, and data architecture validation.
- Establish DEV and PROD separation, API-based pipelines, release automation, security hardening, and product-level cost monitoring.
- Produce architecture decision records and audit evidence; lead delivery, oversee data engineers, assure quality, and mentor colleagues.
Must-haves
- Production data-solution delivery experience in financial services, including banking, insurance, capital markets, or asset and wealth management.
