Principal Data Analyst - Secondment

Strong hands-on programming skills in Python and/or SQL.

Practical data-analysis experience, including solving complex business problems using large datasets.

Ability to translate business challenges into data and analytical problems, select suitable approaches and communicate actionable recommendations.

Hands-on experience of data modelling, relational databases and working with significant data volumes, with a strong understanding of big-data concepts and processing patterns.

Strong stakeholder-management, consulting and communication skills, including the ability to influence through evidence and present to mixed audiences.

with data-visualisation platforms such as Looker or Data Studio is desirable, or a clear willingness and ability to learn these tools.

Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and services such as BigQuery, Dataproc or Cloud Composer is desirable but not essential.

Strong organisational, problem-solving and delivery skills, with curiosity, adaptability and the ability to work effectively across multiple priorities and teams.
