The Opportunity
The Principal Cloud Technical Product Management role will be responsible for defining, driving, and managing the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of private cloud products and platforms across Core42’s cloud ecosystem.
The role will work closely with engineering, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade private cloud capabilities aligned with customer requirements, market trends, and organizational goals.
You will lead the productization of cloud infrastructure services, virtualization platforms, container technologies, automation capabilities, and cloud-native services while ensuring scalability, security, governance, and operational excellence across the platform portfolio.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for private cloud product offerings
- Translate customer, business, and market requirements into product roadmaps, PRDs, and prioritized backlogs
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to deliver private cloud IaaS, PaaS, container, and SaaS capabilities
- Lead productization initiatives for enterprise virtualization and container platforms including OpenShift and Kubernetes-based technologies
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation capabilities using technologies such as Terraform and Ansible
- Define cloud security, identity, governance, and network segmentation requirements within product architectures
- Embed SLA, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities into cloud product designs
- Collaborate with customers, sales, engineering, operations, and executive leadership teams to align product strategies with business goals
- Develop go-to-market strategies including pricing, packaging, positioning, and service differentiation
- Ensure governance, compliance, and policy frameworks are integrated into cloud service offerings
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscapes to continuously evolve cloud products
- Drive adoption, customer success, and lifecycle management of private cloud platforms
- Support executive presentations, customer workshops, and strategic product discussions
- Work closely with technology partners and vendors to evaluate and integrate emerging cloud technologies
(a) Required Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud technologies, infrastructure platforms, or technical product management
- Strong expertise in defining and delivering private cloud strategies and enterprise cloud platforms
- Experience translating technical and business requirements into product roadmaps and deliverables
- Deep understanding of enterprise virtualization, containerization, and cloud-native platforms
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and orchestration technologies
- Experience with cloud security, identity management, governance, compliance, and segmentation models
- Knowledge of SLA management, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with product lifecycle management, go-to-market planning, pricing, and positioning
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
(b) Preferred Skills / Qualifications
- Hands-on expertise with Red Hat technologies including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenShift, and related Red Hat tooling
- Proven experience leading the end-to-end build and launch of enterprise-grade private cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes ecosystems and cloud-native technologies
- Relevant certifications such as:
- VMware VCP/VCDX
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA/CKAD)
- AWS, Azure, or GCP Architect certifications
- Product Management certifications such as Pragmatic or AIPMM
- Experience working within hyperscale, sovereign cloud, or regulated environments
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements
