  • Modern Recovery Services is a virtual intensive outpatient program for individuals working through mental health and substance use challenges. The Primary Therapists’ role is to support others in recovery from a substance use disorder and/or co-occurring disorders. The Primary Therapist will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recovering individuals to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. The Primary Therapist works in collaboration with the Clinical Director and Group Facilitator to meet the clients’ needs in accordance with their treatment plan, by providing Individual sessions to clients in need of these services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university
  • Must be 21 years of age (licensing requirement)
  • Must be able to provide Level 1 fingerprint clearance card
  • Individuals must understand and respect everyone's unique path to recovery.
  • A person must have a working knowledge of the drug and alcohol treatment system and a demonstrated commitment to the recovery community.
  • A person must be comfortable working with both adolescent and adult populations.
