A bit about the job

This role sits within Aviva's Personal Lines business and focuses on the pricing of the Motability fleet, with annual premiums exceeding £1bn. You'll be part of a team whose primary focus is delivering detailed reserving-style analysis using Python to set a single fleet price every six months. Alongside this, you'll contribute to a wide range of analytical work, including segmentation analysis, pricing projections, business planning, proposition assessments and claims investigations. The team works closely with colleagues across Claims, Finance, Underwriting, Data and Analytics, as well as our client, Motability, giving you exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and business areas. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your pricing, reserving and analytical expertise while working on one of the UK's largest motor insurance portfolios.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Statistical Modelling (GL/GBM, Radar/Emblem), Python and/or SQL would be beneficial. Motor insurance experience would also be advantageous.
