• Your new role
• Develop and implement pricing strategies that support sustainable and profitable growth across the reinsurance portfolio.
• Partner with Underwriting and Portfolio Management teams to provide commercial pricing expertise and influence key business decisions.
• Lead and oversee pricing activity, ensuring business decisions are supported by robust modelling, analysis and insights.
• Develop, enhance and maintain pricing models, tools and methodologies to meet evolving business needs.
• Deliver portfolio, product and profitability analyses, identifying trends, opportunities and emerging risks.
• Support business planning, forecasting and performance monitoring through the provision of pricing and management information.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on pricing-related matters.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of pricing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
• About you
• Significant pricing actuarial experience within Life General Insurance or Reinsurance market.
• Experience developing pricing strategies and delivering commercially focused pricing solutions.
• Ability to build and enhance actuarial models, pricing tools and methodologies.
• Leadership experience, with a track record of developing and managing high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior business leaders.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical excellence with business objectives.
• Experience using analytical and programming tools such as Excel, VBA, SQL, R or similar.
• Actuarial qualification (e.g. FIA, FCAS, ACAS or equivalent).
