Pricing Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide timely pricing and underwriting analysis of aircraft trading and leasing transactions through deal approval.
• Ensure accurate information flow with front-line executives and help drive transactions to commercially informed conclusions.
• Create financial models for non-standard transactions.
• Provide project support through research, data manipulation and analysis, and presentation production.
• Research markets and competitors to evaluate aircraft leasing opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of customer business models and aircraft requirements.
• Keep airline information current through contact with customers, competitors and suppliers, including plans, financial statements, market analysis and industry reports.
• Discuss airline credit and pricing analysis with management.
• Provide underwriting support to projects, initiatives and management decisions.
• Populate slides, charts and sections of corporate memos and presentations.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in finance, business, engineering or aerospace is preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience in similar pricing analysis at an aircraft lessor or airline, or in management, consulting or banking focused on these industries, is essential.
• Strong analytical and communication skills and self-motivation.
