Preschool Behavior Technician
Full Job Posting
- Execute all responsibilities and skills associated with the RBT certification. Must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
- Provide direct implementation of holistic, neurodiversity-affirming behavior analytic services to students in one-on-one and group settings within schools.
- Work closely with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into the daily classroom routine and support students’ engagement and learning.
- Support student development in communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care (e.g., toileting, hygiene, dressing) as appropriate to the school context.
- Utilize a strengths-based treatment approach developed in collaboration with the educational team.
- Collect data consistently on student progress and behaviors during each session and complete timely documentation, including session notes and incident reports.
- Participate in classroom observations, team meetings, and school-based training sessions as assigned.
- Implement proactive behavior support strategies and follow school safety and crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting procedures.
- Travel between assigned work sites, as needed, within the designated service area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- You have at least one year of work experience in ABA / Behavior Technician roles
- You hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You can maintain reliable transportation and must be able to travel between work locations.
- You have a first aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
