Role overview
The role specializes in data centre build projects and designs physical infrastructure solutions.
The role supports the sales team with technical proposals that address customer needs and industry standards.
The description lists Abu Dhabi as the role location and states permanent / FTE.
Key responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements for data centre builds.
- Design layouts for racks, power, cooling, and cabling.
- Prepare technical drawings and bills of materials.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility checks.
- Create and present technical proposals.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as TIA-942 and Uptime Tier levels.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in data centre infrastructure design.
- Knowledge of power systems, cooling, cabling, and containment.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Visio, and industry standards.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Preferred certifications
- CDCP or CDCS certification is preferred.
- Uptime ATD certification is preferred.
