Full-time, on-site Presales Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements, design technical solutions, and support prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations; prepare proposals and technical documentation.
- Conduct solution assessments and support integration and deployment planning.
- Work with technical support and security teams to address customer inquiries and perform proof-of-concept activities.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with information security best practices.
- Maintain knowledge of company offerings, market trends, and competitor solutions to position services effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong presales and sales skills, including requirements gathering, solution design, and customer presentations.
- Technical support and troubleshooting experience in IT infrastructure or managed services; experience with system and application integration, APIs, cloud platforms, and SaaS.
- Understanding of security principles and technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection, email security, and threat detection.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Clear communication of technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences; analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and a solution-focused mindset.
- Information security, IT managed services, or related domain experience is highly beneficial.
- Client-facing comfort, presentation and negotiation skills, and fluency in English; additional region-relevant languages are advantageous.
