Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Presales Engineer role in the United Arab Emirates.
The role focuses on ELV, ICT, and home automation systems and supports sales, clients, project teams, and engineering teams.
The position requires understanding technical requirements, designing solutions, and preparing proposals, quotations, and bills of quantities.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and create system architectures.
- Review drawings and specifications and prepare technical documentation.
- Respond to RFPs and RFQs and support product and solution demonstrations.
- Provide presales technical support during customer meetings and presentations.
- Help ensure proposed solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with client expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong presales, sales, and customer-facing skills are required.
- Integration and ELV, ICT, or home automation design skills are required.
- Security and safety systems knowledge, including IP CCTV and access control, is required.
- Technical support capability for clarifications, technical queries, proof-of-concepts, and demonstrations is required.
- Relevant qualifications may include a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in ELV, ICT, building automation, or smart home technologies is required.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills are required.
- Microsoft Office and design or diagram tools such as AutoCAD or Visio are relevant.
- English communication is required, while Arabic knowledge is advantageous.
