Presales Engineer-ELV

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements; conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings when required.
• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, estimates, quotations, technical proposals, and tender submissions.
• Develop technically compliant, cost-effective Interior Fit-Out and ELV solutions.
• Obtain competitive supplier and subcontractor quotations; evaluate offers and prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets.
• Support Sales team client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Project teams for project handover.
• Maintain pricing, product, and vendor databases and submit tenders and proposals accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in presales, estimation, or technical sales.
• Strong knowledge of Interior Fit-Out and ELV Systems.
• Experience preparing BOQs, cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender documentation.
• Ability to read architectural, interior, MEP, and ELV drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• A UAE driving license is an advantage.
