Job Overview
We are hiring for a
Presales Cloud Solutions Architect
for the
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
at Logicom, to serve as the primary technical expert responsible for enabling and supporting Logicom’s network of partners across the Gulf.
This role is focused on accelerating OCI adoption through partner technical enablement, presales support, and collaborative solution development.
The Presales Solutions Architect for OCI will work closely with Logicom’s channel partners, Oracle A&C Teams, Oracle Solution Engineers, and internal cloud specialists to drive strategic cloud opportunities, develop technical skills across the partner ecosystem, and ensure successful implementation and expansion of Oracle Cloud solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering technical enablement plans to onboard partners on OCI technologies.
- Conducting workshops, hands-on labs, and enablement sessions to support partner solution architects, pre-sales engineers, and delivery consultants.
- Guiding partners on building repeatable OCI service offerings tailored to their vertical or customer base.
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to partners during presales engagements.
- Designing OCI solution architectures for key workloads, including migrations, hybrid architectures, security, and performance optimization.
- Supporting partners with proposals, customer demos, PoCs, and RFx responses.
- Supporting partner business planning by identifying high priority use cases and developing enablement tracks aligned to Oracle’s strategic sales plays.
- Helping partners define implementation methodologies and packaged OCI services.
- Collaborating with partner managers to track partner readiness, progress, and deal pipeline.
- Providing architectural guidance and best practices for OCI deployments, including IaaS, PaaS, and network/ security architecture.
- Supporting go-lives, escalations, and post-deployment value realization efforts.
- Liaising with Oracle and Logicom support Teams to ensure successful resolution of technical challenges.
- Representing Logicom in partner events, technical forums, and customer engagements as a subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Contributing to internal knowledge sharing and building reusable assets to support wider partner adoption.
- Facilitating partner onboarding to OCI and conducting regular readiness assessments.
- Delivering joint partner-customer workshops and designing sessions.
- Driving OCI workload-specific campaigns (e.g., app modernization, Oracle DB migration, data & AI).
- Supporting the execution of Oracle cloud sales through channel partners.
- Coordinating with Oracle’s A&C, Cloud Engineering, and Product Teams for partner success.
- Tracking partner project outcomes, use case development, and delivery milestones.
- Promoting OCI implementation best practices and reusable delivery assets.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud presales, architecture, or partner-facing technical roles.
- Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) IaaS and PaaS services.
- Oracle OCI certifications highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of competing cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or enabling IT channel partners or system integrators.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in cloud migrations, enterprise workloads, and hybrid IT architecture.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
