Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Prepress Executive / Officer to join our dynamic team in the Cylinder Department for flexible packaging.
The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of hands-on experience in the prepress industry, particularly in the flexible packaging sector, and will be proficient in industry-leading design and prepress tools such as ARTPRO and Adobe Suite.
As a Prepress Executive, you will play a crucial role in preparing and reviewing artwork for the production process, ensuring accuracy, color consistency, and compliance with quality standards.
You will work closely with various departments to ensure the timely and efficient production of printing plates for flexible packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process artwork for printing on flexible packaging using ARTPRO and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Manage the cylinder department’s day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of printing cylinders.
- Ensure artwork meets technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the design team, production, and quality assurance to troubleshoot and resolve prepress-related issues.
- Perform color management and ensure consistency throughout the prepress and printing process.
- Conduct final checks on artwork files to ensure they are print-ready and free of errors.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and tools relevant to the prepress and flexible packaging sectors.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in DTP, Printing, Graphics, or related fields.
- 4-8 years of experience in prepress, specifically in the cylinder department of a flexible packaging company.
- Strong knowledge of ARTPRO software, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and prepress workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with color management and print optimization techniques.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Diploma (Preferred)
