Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Pre-Sales & Solutions Engineer to support our growing portfolio of ICT, networking, security, and digital infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for solution design, technical proposals, BOQ preparation, vendor engagement, and tender support for projects across enterprise, commercial, industrial, and mission-critical environments.
The role requires a strong technical foundation in networking and network security systems, coupled with working knowledge of servers, storage and virtualization, as well as physical security.
A. Solution Design & Engineering
- Analyze client requirements, RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.
- Develop end-to-end technical solutions covering ICT, networking, security, and infrastructure systems.
- Prepare system architecture, solution designs, and high-level network diagrams.
- Coordinate with vendors and distributors to develop compliant and optimized solutions.
- Support the design of data center, server room, and critical infrastructure projects.
B. Pre-Sales & Tender Support
- Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, and technical submittals.
- Develop bill of quantities (BOQs) and solution cost estimates.
- Participate in bid reviews and technical clarification meetings.
- Evaluate project specifications and identify technical risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
- Assist in commercial proposal development and solution positioning.
D. Vendor & Technology Engagement
- Maintain relationships with technology vendors and distributors.
- Obtain quotations, technical support, and solution validation.
- Participate in technical training and certification programs.
- Support partner registrations and vendor accreditation initiatives.
Qualifications
A.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- B.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in ICT, networking, security, or systems integration pre-sales roles.
- Experience supporting enterprise, government, healthcare, education, industrial, or data center projects is preferred.
- KSA experience is considered a strong advantage.
C. Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity and network security solutions.
- Working knowledge of structured cabling, servers, storage, virtualization, and backup technologies.
- Familiarity with ELV, physical security and data center environments.
- Ability to prepare technical proposals, BOQs, and compliance matrices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, AutoCAD, and related engineering tools.
