Overview

Help AG is looking for a talented and experienced Pre-Sales Manager - Solution Architecture who will provide overall leadership to a group of solution architects dedicated for the UAE, support all the sales solutioning, proposals, provide technical advice, support, and strategy.

Role will work with BDMs and Solution Architects in formulating (technical) account planning.

It is vital that Manager Solution Architecture and his team of Solution Architects are acting as Technical Authority for allocated accounts, by delivering technical information to the customer in the form of RFI/RFP responses, design related documentation, product updates and industry/competitive analysis.

As a team leader, role will require to actively observe customer behavior, collect the feedback, and help in predicting future needs required for product positioning and service development.

The candidate will also have to ensure continues improvement of the team from the technical perspective as well as from the soft skill and marketing positioning perspective.

The candidate will work closely with various Help AG verticals such as sales, sales ops, product/service development, marketing, and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Establish excellent relationship with sales, sales ops and the service development team.
  • Joint development of technical account plans with Account Manager/Director.
  • Support sales strategies in response to market and competitors' behavior.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to undertake demand-generating activities.
  • Understand customer requirements and make sales presentations.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers.
  • Generate technical documents to support bid responses (RFI, RFP, etc.).
  • Train other solution architects how to improve their skills.
  • Lead the technical strategy creation for nominated customers and prospects.
  • Make sure that the whole team is following established bid process.
  • Generate ideas for service development as well as for internal process improvements.
  • Making sure that cooperate strategy / goals are executed.
  • Setting up and tracking the teams KPIs.
  • Supporting the team with HR related queries / challenges.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in positioning managed security services.
  • Excellent understanding of cyber, and information security challenges and strategies.
  • Deep understanding of solutions and products in the cyber security field.
  • Understanding of OT cyber security technologies.
  • Technical and solution knowledge on Cloud IT and Sec technologies.
  • Strong consulting skills covering both technical as well as commercial understanding of an opportunity.
  • Team player.
  • Proven leadership record.
  • Strong pedagogical skills in explaining difficult technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Strong pedagogical skills in working with the team related to HR enquiries and challenges.
  • Solid business acumen.
  • Excellent report/technical documentation writing skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Flexible work approach based on the requirements of the job.
  • Team player and optimistic.
  • Strong verbal and written command of English.
